What you’ll bring: 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role Proven track record of managing and leading engineering teams in a fast-paced, e-commerce environment. Familiarity with modern programming languages and frameworks (Preference for Next.js, GraphQL, TypeScript, and Kafka) A desire to solve complex problems in the most simple and efficient ways possible An appreciation for mentoring other engineers through thoughtful code and architecture reviews, sharing best practices, and being equally ready to dive into the code yourself. The pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $160,000 and $200,000/year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, market factors, and business need. The Bombas total rewards package offered for this position may also include other elements, such as annual bonus and equity target award opportunities as well as medical, financial, and well-being benefits.
