Requirements
Perform and own multiple areas of the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closes (including, but not limited to, accruals, account reconciliations and analytical reviews)
Perform bank reconciliations and review bank transactions to ensure accurate classification
Perform departmental variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas of concern
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Partner with FP&A to provide insightful financial analysis to support executive decision-making
Assist in process improvement and explore AI and data-driven solutions to streamline workflows and improve the quality of monthly, quarterly, and annual closes
Support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes in accordance with GAAP
Support completion of external audit procedures on annual/ ad-hoc basis
Support Accounting needs for international and wholesale expansion
Contribute to other ad-hoc projects as needed (i.e. system implementations, compiling internal and external financial data, audit requests, performing various analyses, etc.)
