ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification with demonstrable experience in management accounting.
Demonstrable experience in management accounting or a similar finance role, ideally within a high-growth or scale-up organisation.
Proven experience in preparing and analysing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of financial systems, with advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP). Working knowledge of BI tools (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau) with SQL/python knowledge
Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and influence key business decisions with data-driven insights.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Self-starter that embraces ambiguity that is expected to be both a leader as well as a hands-on contributor.
WHAT YOU COULD ALSO HAVE:
Experience managing or mentoring a team of finance professionals, fostering development and driving high performance.
A forward-thinking mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changes in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
Experience with or interest in working in innovative industries and start-up or scale-up organisations.
Strong business and commercial understanding, with the ability to drive strategic initiatives that create value.
Ability to balance long-term financial goals with the need for short-term operational agility and innovation
This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least THREE days a week in GSHQ, Solihull, UK.
