    Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Ops, Supply Chain, Product, Finance, Engineering) to identify data visibility gaps and ensure data supports business objectives. Develop and optimize core data models using DBT, designing scalable, reusable, and well-documented transformations that power dashboards, reports, and analysis across the organization. Collaborate with Data Engineering to design, optimize, and maintain efficient data pipelines, ensuring accuracy, availability, and performance. Enhance data validation and governance processes, driving best practices in data modeling, quality assurance, and documentation. Define and monitor key business KPIs, providing insights that drive experimentation, optimization, and strategic improvements. Support and administer BI tools (Looker, Heap, etc.), ensuring adoption and effective use across teams. Contribute to data infrastructure improvements, including refactoring legacy models and optimizing data warehouse architecture. 
    Requirements
    4+ years of hands-on experience with large, complex data sets. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics…); advanced degrees and/or specializations a plus. Highly proficient in SQL, with experience optimizing queries in cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.). 2+ years of hands-on experience with DBT, with a firm grasp of data modeling, warehouse concepts, and transformation logic. Strong Looker development skills, including LookML modeling, dashboard creation, and project structuring. Experience with code management and deployment on Github. Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle ambiguity, and manage multiple priorities. Experience leading or contributing to a data warehouse migration (e.g., Snowflake → BigQuery) is a plus.
