Provide on-site support to existing team members to deliver a seamless, productive experience
Resolve employee issues via phone call, instant message, and email
Provide remote support to users at home and in other locations around the world
Monitoring and troubleshooting computer systems, servers, and networks
Configuring and installing network and server equipment on-site
Installing, configuring and maintaining computer hardware, software, systems, printers and scanners
Repairing and replacing computer equipment as necessary
Respond to emergency issues off-hours as they arise
Assisting with company-wide IT projects and initiatives
Provisioning accounts, hardware, and devices for new users
Provide after-hours on call support on a defined monthly schedule
Requirements
3+ years working experience in IT Helpdesk, NOC, Sr. IT Support Technician or equivalent role
Experience working in Windows and Mac environments
Experience using Intune, Azure, Google Workspace, and other management software platforms
Must be available to work on-site at facility in Birmingham
Occasional international travel to other facilities in Europe and United States as needed
Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
Ability to work on assigned project tasks while maintaining daily operations
Communicate technical issues to a non-technical crowd
Excellent written and verbal communication
Self-motivated and driven to resolve tasks quickly
Experience working with IT teams across different time zones
Scrappiness and resourcefulness; not afraid to get your hands dirty and tackle problems
Dedicated to organization and punctuality
Preferred:
1-3 years experience working in a mixed Mac/Unix/Windows environment
1-3 years experience working with low voltage vendors and other IT specific contractors and trades
1-3 years experience utilizing RMM/MDM tools (e.g.: Solarwinds, Jamf, InTune, etc.)
Familiarity with VMWare or other Virtual Machine platforms
Basic understanding of network configurations, IP addressing, networking concepts
Ability to manage users and access through Active Directory, GSuite, and Slack

Schedule:
Onsite in Birmingham, 5 days a week
Monday to Friday
8AM - 5PM
Monthly scheduled on-call rotation (1 week)
Possible weekends or overtime as required
