Own the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of technical packages (tech packs), including specifications, measurements, construction details, BOMs, and grading.
Measure development and production samples, preparing them for fittings.
Lead and manage fit sessions: evaluate garment fit, identify patterning adjustments, and provide actionable technical recommendations.
Communicate detailed fit and construction revisions to vendors in a clear, accurate, and timely manner.
Collaborate closely with design, product development, and production to ensure garments meet design intent while achieving cost and margin targets.
Anticipate potential technical or production issues and propose proactive solutions to avoid delays.
Maintain consistent brand fit standards and ensure accuracy across all categories.
Track updates and maintain detailed records in WIP and PLM systems to ensure transparency and accountability across the product lifecycle.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, Apparel Engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in technical design, spec writing, or pattern making, ideally with a focus on menswear.
Strong expertise in garment construction, pattern making, grading, and fit evaluation.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Excel, Google Drive, and PLM systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical direction to cross-functional teams and global vendors.
Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Experience leading fit sessions and collaborating with overseas vendors is a plus.
